Elgato released Camera Hub 1.11 on September 3, 2024. Its Voice Sync feature used AI and machine learning to move a Prompter script as the speaker talked. The release also added global hotkeys and camera-preview controls. Hardware requirements applied. [1]
A script should follow your thought
Our rehearsal takeaway is that controlling a scrolling script can consume attention. Speech-following controls could reduce that burden in a prepared presentation. They do not supply the content of an answer, and a teleprompter is not the same thing as a real-time interview assistant. Keep that distinction clear when choosing a practice setup.
Try a prepared introduction with short lines and a deliberate pause between ideas. Then remove full sentences and rehearse from a few cues. Compare whether the shorter version helps you respond naturally when the next question changes. A useful practice aid should make it easier to explain your own work. It should not become the only way you can complete the explanation. Test the particular hardware and software together before relying on a feature described in release notes.
