The development

Anthropic introduced Claude 3.5 Sonnet on June 20, 2024, alongside a preview of Artifacts: generated content displayed in a dedicated area next to the conversation. The announcement positioned that workspace as a way to see and iterate on content. [1]

Build a bank of evidence

Our interview application is to organize stories as working notes. For each example, keep the situation, your responsibility, a decision, and the result. Add the follow-up questions you would expect from a skeptical listener. This makes the bank useful across different prompts without requiring you to memorize a separate paragraph for every possible question.

An editable workspace can help maintain those notes, but you remain responsible for their accuracy. Ask the assistant to flag vague claims and unexplained numbers. Then rewrite the notes yourself before speaking. If several stories all demonstrate the same skill, look for a missing example rather than asking for more elegant phrasing. The finished bank should support flexible recall, not a performance that sounds like a document being read aloud.
