The development
OpenAI introduced GPT-5.2 on December 11, 2025. The announcement highlighted professional work and long-context reasoning, among other capabilities. Those evaluations described model performance; they did not establish that a model could certify a candidate’s account of their career. [1]
Look across the whole set of examples
Our suggested preparation task is a consistency review. Collect the short versions of your project stories and check dates, responsibilities, and outcomes. Ask the assistant to point out apparent contradictions rather than resolve them on its own. The underlying record, not the model’s preferred narrative, should decide which description is accurate.
This can catch a story where one version says you owned the entire project and another says you contributed to a narrower part. It can also reveal that several examples repeat the same claim while leaving a major role requirement uncovered. Correct the notes, then rehearse one example aloud. A coherent story bank should preserve honest differences between projects, including mixed outcomes and lessons learned. Consistency is about accuracy, not making every experience fit an identical success narrative.
